Our goal is to solve some of the common frustrations reef hobbyists run into every day. For example, many of us clean our tanks with diluted vinegar and water because it’s inexpensive and readily available. But over time, vinegar may not be the best option for aquarium glass.
Because vinegar is acidic, repeated use can potentially contribute to microscopic pitting on the glass surface, making it easier for minerals and buildup to cling over time. If not completely wiped away, leftover vinegar solution can also seep into the outer edges of framed tanks and gradually weaken seals with long-term exposure.
